How to cope with jet jag

How to cope with jet lag.

What is jet lag? Jet lag is a sleep disorder that happens when you cross multiple time zones. The rapid crossing of time zones interrupts the biological clock that helps when we fall asleep and wake up.

So here are some tips to cope with jet jag:

While at home, a few days before your trip, try to move your schedule to the time your destination is.

While you are on the plane, adjust your watch to the destination’s time. This will help your mind adjust to the new time.

Keep hydrated. Flying in a plane can make your body dry out. Drink plenty of fluids and avoid caffeine and alcohol.

Move around the plane’s cabin. Stand and stretch for a little time. This will help you keep moving and wake the body up.

When in your hotel room, take a warm bath, this will help you relax and try to sleep.

Most of all, just try to relax on the plane and at your destination. Your vacation awaits for you!
